Beck Raward Dip.ECE AdvDip.Arts (Acting)
Tutor: Intermediate & Seniors

Beck graduated with an Advanced Diploma of Arts (Acting) from the Academy of Dramatic Art in Sydney in 2005.

Since then she has worked in many areas of the film industry but primarily in casting at Fox Studios. Whilst casting, she was asked to teach at the Australian Institute for Performing Arts where she taught children and young people; ranging from ages 6-22. Her improvisation teaching experience then landed her the role of coach for two teenage Australian teams representing Australia in the Canadian Improvisation Games. The two teams came first and second in their categories.

Beck loves everything performance but is specifically interested in teaching Acting-for-Screen and Casting Success skills and Improvisation to young people and adults. Beck recently added an Improvisation Teachers’ Toolkit intensive course, with Lyn Pierse (one of the most reputable improvisers in Australia) to her teaching repertoire and cannot wait to enhance the delivery of her programs with the fresh and innovative skills she has acquired.

Beck is now a qualified early childhood educator and uses her performance and visual art knowledge to support seriously ill children and their families as an arts-in-health facilitator for the Starlight Children’s Foundation.
